Chasing paper was having a hard time understanding their customer acquisition funnel and scaling on Paid Social. They had a lot of sample swatch sales happening throughout their acquisition funnel and couldn't understand the true value of these customers.
We built more robust tracking, and custom conversion events through the Facebook ads UI. We then separated the campaigns out by swatch event conversions, and from there we examined the actual conversion funnel for customers coming in off of a sample swatch.

Follett was struggling to achieve high-value keyword rank performance within the search engines as well as deliver on incremental organic traffic to boost online sales of books, textbooks and consumables to consumers. The challenge I faced was to analyze current SEO performance and execute various SEO tactics and tasks to improve keyword rank, organic traffic and eComm sales.
The brand was struggling to improve the ROAS of their online store above 300%, after getting a taste of 800 - 900% during the pandemic, when people being stuck at home all day every day was beneficial to a brand like theirs. The brand was already familiar to consumers who were used to seeing it at stores like Harvey Norman and Kmart, but now could no longer shop at those stores. Another challenge was not being able to offer discounts on their products deeper than the stockist retailer were offering.
The target ROAS was 500 - 600%. The channels they were using were Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Ads. Facebook was an area of concern as they did not see consistent returns there, although the channel very well during lockdowns.
