The Challenge

Walt Life is a fan-created Disney subscription box featuring officially licensed merchandise and items only found at the parks.

Challenges:

  • Current creative wasn’t scaling efficiently
  • Low engagement on ads
  • Remarketing was not converting even with discounts

Strategy:

  • I pitched the client on influencer whitelisted ads, which were an immediate success for us from both an engagement and conversion rate perspective.
  • Used our amazing influencer content to create high converting mash-up ads that created an emotional connection to the product

The Process

- Was responsible for all aspects related to strategizing, implementing, and optimizing the delivery of advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tapjoy

- Worked closely with the creative team to produce and create full-funnel, data-driven iterations of ads that would scale

- Outlined out-of-channel opportunities to support advertising efforts including conversion rate optimization recommendations and social media best practices

- Consistently communicated weekly/monthly/quarterly results, post promotion analysis, and sales trends

The Solution

Scales the account over 32% from Q4 2019 to Q1 2020 with a 12% drop in CPA, without paying an influencer a single dollar (aside from free product).

The average CPA while I managed the account was 38% better than what it was previously.

Melbourne Bushfood

Melbourne Bushfood came to me with minimal focus on email marketing.

They did not have their automations set up, replenishment reminders or actively communicating and pushing their subscription base.

Being a CPG brand retention, loyalty and referrals are the biggest needle movers for them.

Supplement Review Digest

Worked with the client as a contributing writer to produce articles and blog content.

Here is one example of work that we completed for the client - https://supplementreviewdigest.com/2020/06/16/supplements-that-improve-mental-health/

This client had an in-house SEO and design team, so we integrated with them to produce content that fit their needs.

Haiti-Now

Haiti Now is a non-profit organization that seeks to give economic empowerment to girls in Haiti’s Restavek system through education and a safe environment. The organization, however, was not receiving enough money in donations to support their mission, thus leading the CEO to come to the conclusion that the issue might have to do with the website's User Experience.

My role as a UX Researcher and Designer was to optimize the website for growth so that Haiti Now could have the impact that it seeks. The website was busy, had outdated copy, and had a lot of information that had to be re-arranged in a more user-friendly manner.
