Back in May, when we started advertising with Bloc Shop, they were generating around $7,000 per month on their online store.

Fast-forward to December 2021, and the online store generated $42,050 for this month only.

Results are improving month-to-month and Bloc Shop is an absolute top brand in the whole country, but to give an idea, I'll include the stats from last month (March 2022).

Stats

  • Revenue increase of 66.4%
  • Clicks increase of 67%
  • Spend increase of 43%
  • eCom conversion rate = 1.5%
  • Impressions increase of 141.5%
  • CTR of 3%
  • Average CPC decrease of 14% ($0.57)

The Challenge

With the pandemic striking, Bloc Shop, one of Quebec's main climbing spots, had to diversify. Their in-person boutique had a lot of choices, as their climbing shoes offering is one of the best in Canada. However, their online store was not generating a lot of conversions.

They came to us for Google, Facebook and Instagram Ads.

The Process

We started by creating the most complete Google Ads Structure based on their products and offering. We also had to properly setup their Shopify store to be able to drive sales on Google Shopping. After a few months, once everything was rolling, we also introduced Facebook and Instagram Ads to the strategy.

We recently expanded their offering to the USA, and results are better than ever.

Puremix

The main problem that they were facing was that the cost per conversion was too high for them to manage profitability long term, and they needed someone to come in and drop the CPA.

Reuters News Agency

As one of the world's leading news agencies, Reuters goes "back to the start, where there’s no bias and no agenda to tell the real story," thereby providing a critical service all Reuters employees deeply believed in. Yet as a small business unit in shrinking industry (Publishing) within a large company (Thomson Reuters), the news agency was severely limited in both staff and budget.

My challenge was to help grow revenue through the digital marketing channel for the news agency with only $100k-$200k budget and no staff support within the new agency.

Imperial Tea

Imperial Tea is a premium tea company started almost 30 years ago, and family run. As a family run business, Imperial Tea has acquired a very loyal community of fans and customers. True tea connoisseurs shop at Imperial Tea, in part for the premium quality they offer, but also to continue connecting with the founders that lead tea tasting sessions and education. The entire Imperial Tea experience is unique. While the majority of their sales have been generated by their tea house in San Francisco, they have been trying to expand their online stores sales.

When Imperial Tea reached out to us, they were looking for a team of marketers that truly understand the boutique nature of their business. Unlike mainstream tea companies, Imperial Tea’s social media content had to lead with education in order to continue offering the same quality of service to their existing audience, while growing their community of premium tea lovers.
